• Cash:
Traditionally, gifts of cash represent the most common way to give. These gifts are simple to make and receive. Checks should be made payable to the Montclair Cooperative School and mailed attention to:
Development Office , MCS, 65 Chestnut Street, Montclair, NJ 07042.
• Credit Card:
MCS is happy to process gifts using Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. These gifts are viewed as cash gifts and can be used for pledge payments as well as outright donations.
• Online:
Make a gift to the annual fund or make a pledge payment using a credit card on our secure online payment system. Click here to Donate On-line.
• Matching Gifts:
Donors receive credit for corporate matching gifts. Many companies provide this benefit to their employees and their spouses. Please check with your human resource department and send us their matching gift form with your donation.
• Securities:
Appreciated stocks can make excellent charitable gifts in that the donor receives credit for the full market value and may save on capital gains on assets held long term. Call Donna Ellwood at 973-783-4955, extension 16, in the business office for more information.
• Planned Gifts::
Gifts that are part of an overall financial plan and benefit you as well as MCS are planned gifts. They are deliberate strategies designed to meet your specific goals and often include estate planning. Planned gifts can enable you to make a larger gift than you might have thought possible while providing financial benefit to you.
• Gifts in Kind:
The Co-op accepts donations of technology equipment, furniture, library books and other items that are in good condition and are relevant to the educational program and mission of the school.
